Black Girls Tennis Club
Mission: Black Girls Tennis Club, founded in Norfolk, Virginia is a non-profit whose mission is to recruit Black women and girls interested in tennis to learn more about the sport; participate in group and individual training, enhance their skills and create meaningful bonds while having the space to be their authentic selves.
Black Girl Hockey Club
Mission: The mission of Black Girl Hockey Club is to inspire and sustain passion for the game of hockey within the Black community, specifically with our mothers, sisters, daughters and friends, through education, scholarship opportunities and community spaces that will give Black women access to hockey.
Black Girls Golf
Black Girls Golf is headquartered in Greater Atlanta with more than 4,000 members in the U.S and abroad. We are a home for golfers of every level, including newbies. Whether you're interested in learning for leisure or for business, we are here for you. Black Girls Golf has also established the Black Girls Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) with a mission to create a more diverse pipeline of leaders in the golf industry.
Black Women in Sports Foundation
Mission: Established in 1992, the Black Women in Sport Foundation, or BWSF, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the involvement of black women and girls in all aspects of sport, including athletics, coaching and administration.
Edge Outdoors
Mission: A Black woman led organization, EDGE Outdoors is a powerful initiative created to address the invisibility of Black, Indigenous, Women of Color in snow sports. Scholarships will be given to cultivate inclusivity, bestow equity and justice, promote the normalization of Black and Brown bodies on mountain spaces, and create a community of Women of Color that can thrive and lead.
Black Women’s Player Collective
Mission: BWPC is a non-profit created by the Black players in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) to advance opportunities, elevate the image, and increase the representation of Black women as athletes and leaders across industries through networking, education, mentorship, and community development.
Black Girls Run Foundation
Mission: Black Girls RUN! provides a community to inspire all women to be active and healthy. In July 2018, under new BGR! ownership and leadership, the Black Girls RUN! Foundation was created as the philanthropic arm of the national organization to support our national community footprint, programming and the expansion of the organization.
The Running Industry Diversity Coalition
RIDC is a educational, nonprofit organization with a mission to unite the running industry to improve the inclusion, visibility, and access for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
Beyond running—we're dedicated to championing transformative change within the sport. We partner with brands, race events, retailers, and run clubs to ignite unparalleled advancements for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color in the running industry.
Pocket Rocket Foundation (Est. 2020)
Founded by Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, The Pocket Rocket Foundation (PRF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fueling the futures of student-athletes and their community members so they can soar to new heights. Their mission is to enrich the lives of student-athletes by supporting their educational development and basic needs. They utilize unique pathways to higher education, sports, recreational play, and community development to enhance the lives of students and their families across the island of Jamaica.
